Life says aim little chomps at the biggest dogs,
to watch the world get smaller under your paws.
Though I’m frightened to obey what you say,
it’s nothing like when they put us away.
But once I danced around the woods by myself
I discovered raw humans beyond the belt.
Most were unstable, kind and unreliable.
Their love was unconditional, but mine would be liable.
So I ran to the belt that fed and claimed me
from a young age, more web pages named me.
I grew up and old on that same diet
dining below an ageless crew for it.
I dreamed of the woods before I left,
so I know I’ll see them when I’m dead.
Life says aim little chomps at the biggest dogs,
now watch the world get smaller under your paws.
