What’s something you like to do the old-fashioned way?

I keep a physical planner and calendar to keep track of activities and important dates.  I don’t check my phone or Google calendar enough to prefer life recordings there.  I also have a tendency to write even trivial happenings down, partly because my memory is terrible and partly because you never know what you might find significant later.  I like being prepared 🙂planner, calendar

What’s your favorite genre of book or movie?

I try to read different things when I have a chance to read at all, but my favorite genre would be philosophy.  I love reading how others question and figure out the world, it helps me practice it more competently!  I don’t really have a favorite movie genre, as I could be happy seeing pretty much anything on the big screen when I actually decide to go.  I do have movies that I could watch over and over again though, and those tend to be comedies.

How often do you people watch?

I don’t know how often “often” is…so I would say, often?  Also, you type the word “often” enough, it starts to look super strange… much like that dude over there eating an apple, seemingly minding his own business…looks like he’s up to no good though…Okay, OFTEN.

What have you only recently formed an opinion about?

The word, “often.”

Also, I may have had this opinion deep down for a while, but it most recently got brought to light when I found myself in a heated argument about how muchbutter, waffles, breakfast I dislike waffles.  I’d rather not feel like I’m stuffing a block of butter in my mouth one minute only to experience severe dry mouth upon the next bite.  [Butter:Waffle Cube] ratio is a real problem, and I’m not trying to do a bunch of work for a poorly designed cake batter mold, PASS.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Well, if Sunday counts, I am grateful for Cubs baseball starting back up.  Summer and fall registration was this past week as well, so I’m happy I didn’t talk myself out of taking a summer class.  I am powering through on this degree, and thankful for this second wind!

cubs, world series, Chicago, collage

For the week coming up, I am simply excited for a weekday off.  I need to catch up on adult stuffs, so it’s perfect timing.
