How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I enjoy puzzles, quiet nights at home with a cup o’ joe, and can’t seem to sleep past 7a on the weekends.  I’d say I look pretty dang good for 72!

So, you’re on your way out and it’s raining. Do you know where your umbrella is or do you frantically search for it all over your apartment/house?

I know exactly where it is, mostly because I never use it.  My hdon't got time for dat, rain, carair can take it (meaning, I don’t care), and I love running in the rain.  Unless it’s that annoying in-between mist rain.  Either rain or don’t,  I don’t much care  for weather whimsy, and neither do my windshield wipers (see age above)!

Do you recharge your energy by going out with friends for a good time or by spending with quiet time alone?

I love seeing my friends and have been trying to get out of my comfort zone a lot more lately.  That being said, I trust they understand this about me by now, I recharge with alone time.  I have always been more “relaxed” alone, and once I learned this way of life was OKAY, I began giving my friends hard cutoffs and felt less guilty about it!  Before that, I would often think there was something wrong with me or that I needed to compromise my happiness.  But after 72 years, I think I am FINALLY getting it 🙂

Name three things you and your spouse, partner or best friend  to have in common.

We are both passionate, hard-working, and uncompromising women!  And as a bonus, we both rock a mean #RBF.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Well, last week is simple.  I am so grateful that I get the chance to vacation to a new place (or any place for that matter)!  I am grateful for the time I had, and the fact that I was able to return safely.  Before Colorado, I never really experienced such a beautiful place.  I loved the trips I went on as a kid (shout out to Wis Dells!), but this was the first one that put me in awe as an adult, and I can’t wait to get that first stamp on my passport, that’s next!

In the week coming up, hmmm, April showers?  Just kidding, but I am looking forward to the weather warming up in general.  Basel officially gave me the green light to buy my new gym shoes (or maybe I subconsciously left the old ones in his war path), so I am looking forward to breaking them in on some new trails!
