If you lost a bet and had to dye your hair a color of the rainbow for a week, what color would it be?

Well, half of my head is already blue, so I think the loss of a bet would result in the adoption of a “normal” color.  But I could totally see firetruck red and blue 🙂

If you could choose one word to focus on for 2017, what would it be?

Focus, oddly enough.  Grad school, 10k (and beyond if my knees approve) training, writing, etc.

What was one thing you learned last year that you added to your life?

I’ve learned to put myself out there more, and it’s resulted in some pretty great experiences.  I may be awkward in most situations, but I’ve learned to embrace that, and have been much happier for it. 6fa7b4867968ffcc0a4fa82f48d3b0a9

If life was ‘just a bowl of cherries’… which fruit other than a cherry would you be..?

Hmmm, probably a lemon because I am too much to handle in large doses, but dilute over your favorite dish or in some water, and you get that added zest you’ve been missing!

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Technically, 2017 started last week, so I am grateful for a few things.  First, for having a friend (with an 15895160_10154139912465965_8094618505974776279_nextra couch) in the city after the crazy celebration.  Second, I am grateful for a fresh start.  I dealt with a lot of transitions over 2016, so I am thankful that I can put that behind me and focus on a more fulfilling 2017.  And finally, I am grateful for hand warmers!  I stood in line with some friends for about 4.5 hours on Sunday to get my moment with the World Series trophy, and those were a lifesaver in the teen-temperatures!  And I wouldn’t necessarily say I am looking forward to it, but I have a dental cleaning on Saturday, so I will be happy to get that over with.  I don’t do well with dentists….
